Issue #5/2015

MSM Dean Director Wim Naudé

As we approach summer in Maastricht we wish our residential MBA31 class much success in the final stages of their program. We look forward to see them back in Maastricht on 3 September for their graduation. Please book this date in your calendar. We look forward to welcoming new participants later this year into a number of new programs such as in Leading in Higher Education, Master in Management, MSc in Management and Engineering in Electrical Power Systems (with RWTH Aachen University) and the exciting Executive MBA in Sports Management.

Preparations are also ongoing for our 5th Annual Research Conference on 4-5 September on the topic of managing agriculture in Africa. At the recent AMBA Conference for Deans and Directors in Prague, where I shared with the audience some of MSMs experiences in establishing and maintaining global partnerships in these education and research activities, it was clear that the demand for graduate management education remains dynamic, and the business school world continues to be characterised by rapid innovation. MSMs creative approach to program development based on a solid and growing research reputation will continue to be the basis from which we will work together with all our stakeholders for better global management.
