A New Year, with much novelty. This is how 2016 started for MSM. January’s highlights include the much-publicized start of our new Executive MBA in Sports Management as well as new intakes into our Master in Management and Executive Education programs. The latter includes important initiatives in expanding our Leadership in Healthcare Management (e.g. enrollment for our Sexual Reproductive Health Management course is now open), our evidence-based Research Methods and Skills program, and moreover in laying the foundation for what will in time become our School of Governance. Few business schools have such strong partners in the public sector across the world. We were particularly delighted in starting a Public Procurement training program in Jamaica, with a number of partners including London School of Economics, as well as the start of our Endowed Chair in Procurement Innovation. Lastly I want to mention that we launched the call for papers for our 6th Annual Research Conference, which this year is on the theme 'The rise of Eurasia'. This conference will be organized in partnership with our partners in Azerbaijan, China, Kazakhstan, Russia and Turkey. Few business schools can match MSM in its span right across Eurasia, and in this conference we bring the continent and some of its foremost business schools to Maastricht. I hope you can take part!
