MSM and partners to start a PRME chapter for Benelux and France

Maastricht School of Management (MSM), in collaboration with Antwerp Management School, Conference des Grandes Ecoles, and Amsterdam School of International Business (AMSIB) is to launch a PRME Chapter for Benelux and France.

The Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) is a United Nations-supported initiative founded in 2007 as a platform to raise the profile of sustainability in schools around the world, and to equip today’s business students with the understanding and ability to deliver change tomorrow.

MSM is an advance PRME signatory.

Three years into PRME’s launch, signatories from regions around the world determined that due to a diverse range of macro-environmental conditions, there was a need to consider and incorporate local contexts and perspectives into their pursuits.

Today, fifteen regional PRME Chapters help to advance the Six Principles within a particular geographic context, rooting PRME in different national, regional, cultural, and linguistic landscapes. They function as platforms for localized engagement from higher education institutions, and in cooperation with Global Compact Local Networks, can develop projects and initiatives that support the Sustainable Development Goals regionally.

In preparation to launch a PRME chapter for the Benelux countries and France, business schools in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg and France have been invited to a two-day workshop in Antwerp on 9-10 November 2017. This will be a first exploratory meeting for establishing an emerging PRME Chapter

MSM and its partners are pleased to announce that Mr. Jonas Heartle, Head of the PRME Office, will be with us for the entire program.
