AMBA’s CEO at MSM: Cultural awareness of managers an essential skills

During the MSM Graduation Ceremony that took place on 21 September 2017 MSM was privileged to welcome AMBA Chief Executive Mr. Andrew Main Wilson. Given the fact that MSM celebrates its 65thAnniversary in 2017 and AMBA celebrates its 50th Anniversary in 2017 this was a great opportunity to combine both anniversaries.

Mr. Main Wilson was particularly impressed with the international character of MSM’s student body: “You’re one of the most globally diverse set of students I have ever seen,” he said in his speech, adding that this was a true asset at a time and age when most CEO’s and HR directors around the world indicate “cultural awareness and experience” as the most wanted skill.

MSM is one of the only 2% of business schools which carry the AMBA accreditation. In 2014 and 2016 MSM was one of the finalist for the AMBA Innovation Award, which celebrate MBAs at the forefront of leadership excellence. At the AMBAs Annual Global Conference, AMBA recognized MSM’s 65th anniversary by awarding it a ‘Milestone Award’.
