The essential elements for successful leadership
Coming from all corners of the world, 15 participants started the MSM Mastering Effective Leadership program on Monday 30 September 2019. The program - which consists of one week Personal Leadership Skills and one week Team Leadership Influencing Skills – is designed to develop the leadership skills of current and future leaders to become more successful at work and in life.
The first week was all about practicing personal leadership from the inside out. By various exercises and in-depth personal interviews, participants were encouraged to step out of their comfort zone to feel and experience their strengths and weaknesses, and to unlock their talents. The findings of the first week were valuable and crucial input for the second week of the program in which the participants dived deeper into Team Leadership. Throughout this week the participants explored the importance of being able to influence, being an effective communicator and a good conflict mediator.
At the end of the program, the participants applied the newly gained knowledge and insights in a final group assignment. After successfully presenting the outcomes of the group sessions all participants received their well-deserved certificates and turned back home to apply the knowledge and skills to the daily practice of their professional and personal lives.
