Introduction

In many higher education organizations, COVID-19 has called for a rapid transition to a virtual and more flexible learning environment. At MSM, we are proud to see how quickly our staff and students embraced the new forms of working and studying through digital platforms. Our MBA and Master in Management programs skillfully moved their activities online and even used the COVID-19 crisis as a starting point for discussions on strategies in innovation, entrepreneurship, digital transformation and brand marketing. We were able to run the first part of our Corporate Weeks online and to offer our MBA, MM students and alumni various training and workshop sessions on career development.

In light of the travel restrictions taken worldwide in response to the pandemic, we understand that some of our prospective students may still have uncertainties about the upcoming academic year. As a special step, we have therefore decided to offer an exceptional intake in January 2021, in addition to our September 2020 intake, for our full-time MBA and Master in Management residential programs.

On the research front, we continued our work with partners in Africa, Asia and South America in the framework of the Food Security Initiative and collected data on emergency and sustainable food flows in times of global crises such as COVID-19.

I would also like to take this opportunity to invite you to join our free online Masterclass series and discuss with experts how different business areas are responding to COVID-19. On 30 June 2020 the online Masterclass will focus on the COVID-19 crisis and the Euro. As always, we will keep you updated on news and activities through our social media channels.
