MSM and KMBS celebrate 97 new MBA graduates in Kuwait

MSM’s partner institution in Kuwait, the Kuwait Maastricht Business School celebrated its eighth graduation on Saturday 17 May. On this occasion 97 students graduated with the joint MSM-KMBS degree of Master of Business Administration

Guests included Dr. Habib General Secretary of Private Universities Council, Dr. Abdulaziz Al Sultan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of KMBS, and other distinguished guests, among whom a number of ministers and ambassadors.

The ceremony was opened by an alumna from the very first intake who acted as Master of Ceremony of the event. After a speech by KMBS Dean Professor Rodrigo Magalhaes, representatives of the class of 2014 shared the highlights of their studies with the audience.

The highlight of the evening was the conferment of the degrees by Ms. Kati Kovacs, MSM’s Associate Dean for Quality Assurance and Services, who travelled to Kuwait especially for the occasion.

Ms. Kovacs emphasized the importance of quality education and challenged the fresh graduates to make a difference in their societies.

Almost 1,000 students have graduated from the joint MSM-KMBS Executive MBA program. MSM has been active for more than 10 years in the Gulf region.
