Jean Monnet Chair for MSM Professor Harald Sander

Professor Harald Sander, professor of economics at MSM, has been awarded a 3-year Jean Monnet Chair on “Europe in the Global Economy”.

The Chair will focus education and research on Europe’s economy and will actively seek to establish sustainable research networks both within Europe and between Europe and other continents. The aim is to promote and disseminating in-depth knowledge on European economic affairs.

Professor Sander  has been publishing extensively on European financial integration and is an active blogger on European affairs in various outlets.

Jean Monnet Chairs are teaching posts with a specialization in European integration studies. Jean Monnet Chairholders teach a minimum of 90 hours per academic year in the field of European integration studies.
