MSM brings the world to Maastricht

A new international group of 34 MBA students from 23 different countries started the new academic year 2014-2015 at Maastricht School of Management. Often described as a “pressure-cooker”, the one-year full-time, residential variant of the MaastrichtMBA program offers an intensive curriculum in a stimulating multicultural environment, where students learn as much from the theory as from each other’s insights and experiences. Recognizing that a good team spirit is a key factor to maximize the potential of its MBA program, MSM decided to renew last year’s successful team building music video exercise with the new MBA31 class.

By working together in the making of the music video, the students were given a chance to collaborate and to get to know each other in a creative setting.

The film was shot in what will be their new surroundings for the coming year. As viewers, we take part in the students’ discovery of Maastricht, a cosmopolitan city in the heart of Europe, where European history has unfolded for over 20 centuries. We see them as they are welcomed by the Mayor of Maastricht, Onno Hoes, who greets them in front of the historical city hall, and we join in their laughter as they get acquainted with typical Dutch customs such as riding the bicycle or eating raw herring with onions.

MSM is proud to bring together students from different nationalities and cultures to Maastricht and help them to establish strong bonds not only among each other but also with the city and the region.

The MSM video was produced thanks to a fruitful cooperation between MSM and its partners, the city of Maastricht and media company T36, whose generous support made the film possible.
