Maastricht University remains best performing young university in Europe

For the second year in a row Maastricht University remains the best performing young university in Europe in the fourth edition of the QS Top 50 under 50 rankings. Maastricht University maintained its 6^th position in the ranking of the world’s top 50 universities established within the last 50 years. This special ranking for young universities was published for the first time in 2012 to give an indication of which universities may in the future become top universities worldwide.

On 15 September 2014, during the official opening of the Academic Year 2014-2015, Maastricht School of Management and Maastricht University School of Business and Economics launched their joint initiative the MaastrichtMBA. This year the full-time residential MBA group consists of 34 students from no less than 23 nationalities. The MaastrichtMBA offers a new integrated program design with options for both part-time and full-time study, and options to specialize in various management fields
