Executive program on anti-money laundering systems for Indonesian officials

MSM recently provided a tailor-made program on Risk Management Systems for Anti-Money Laundering for a group of 20 civil servants from for the Indonesian Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre (INTRAC-PPATK).

The two-week program consisted of lectures as well as work visits. The latter included opportunities to interact with specialists at the European Court of Audit (ECA) in Luxembourg, the Financial Intelligent Unit (FIU) in Zoetermeer, the Dutch National Bank in Amsterdam.

Participants also spent time at the National Academy for Finances and Economics at the Ministry of Finance in The Hague, where they analyzed case studies on risk management and fraud protection, on the role of auditors in the field of prevention, detection and combating fraud, corruption and money laundering, and the standards of the Financial Action Task Force.

The program will have a follow-up week in the first quarter of 2015 when the participants will be asked to present a master plan on Risk management for Anti-Money Laundering to the top-management of INTRAC. The participants will be coached by MSM in the preparation of this master plan.
