Does scientific evidence matter for business and policy decisions?

MSM in collaboration with Maastricht University has developed a unique 12-week course in Research Methods and Skills (RMS), which is now also (partly) available online.

A new group of students recently graduated from this program on 5 December 2014. They started the course in September by presenting an initial proposal based on a preliminary research idea.

In the following weeks, they received training on how to write a solid and relevant literature review and on developing their research design, handle survey techniques and more. As nothing illustrates theory better than practice, the participants had to collect their own data in a practical local setting. Using software such as STATA, participants were trained in coding their data.

At the end of the course, the participants submitted and presented their research proposals before an academic committee of MSM and Maastricht University.

Do you want to be part of the Research Methods and Skills intake of 2015? There are currently some very appealingscholarships from the Dutch Government available for this program! Apply before 18 February!
