MSM Romania joins UN Global Compact Network Romania

Ms. Dora Surugiu, Managing Director of MSM Romania, has been appointed to the Board of Directors in the Global Compact Network Romania.
The network was launched on 15 May 2015 during an official event in Romania.

The Global Compact Network Romania is a UN strategic policy initiative for businesses that are committed to aligning their operation and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption.

Ms. Mariana Gheorghe, the CEO of OMV Petrom group, was elected the first president of the Global Compact Network Romania.

The Board of Directors consists out of in total seven people: Mariana Gheorghe, CEO of OMV Petrom, Steven van Groningen, president and CEO of Raiffeisen Bank Romania, Nikolai Beckers, CEO of Telekom Romania, Bogdan Ion, Country Managing Partner EY Romania, Jaak Mikkel, General Manager Coca Cola HBC Romania, Dora Surugiu, Maastricht School of Management Bucharest, and Brent Valmar, General Manager Porsche Romania.
