MSM welcomes Global Entrepreneurship Network

On the 28th of May MSM welcomed a delegation from the Global Entrepreneurship Network at its campus in Maastricht.  The delegation, consisting of a dozen representatives across Europe, is taking part in the 2015 meeting of the European Global Entrepreneurship Network.

This year the meeting is organized by Belgium and the Netherlands through the Dutch Centers for Entrepreneurship. Participants explored various entrepreneurship ecosystems in Belgium and the Netherlands as part of a program labeled The Lowlands Trail.

Welcoming the delegation, MSM Dean Professor Wim Naudé explained the history of MSM as one of the oldest business schools in the Netherlands, and in particular its substantial role in emerging markets and in researching and teaching the business, economics and entrepreneurship dimensions of emerging markets. He proceeded to provide the group with a lecture of the current state of thinking and practice on entrepreneurship in emerging markets.
