Highlights 2015

2015 has been busy year at MSM, filled with milestones and wonderful memories. We thank all our students, partners, staff, faculty and board members, who as a formidable team, made MSM again an exceptional organization this past year.  Below we list only a very small selection of some of 2015’s highlights to which we raise our glasses:

  • During 2015 585 students graduated from our various education programs, both in Maastricht (166 students) and in 12 partner locations around the world (419 students).
  • The Association of MBAs (AMBA) has confirmed the re-accreditation of Maastricht School of Management’s programs for the maximum period. In addition, the Master in Management program has received new accreditation from the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE) and Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), hence joining the ranks of the triple accredited MBA and DBA programs.
  • We retained our first place in the 4 Palms of Excellence category as a top business school with significant international influence and our MaastrichtMBA program has been ranked #2 in The Netherlands.
  • Our collaboration with the RWTH Aachen University keeps expanding. No less than four MSc degrees in Management and Engineering are being offered:  in production systems engineering, electrical power systems engineering, computer-aided manufacturing engineering and water management.
  • We developed an exciting Executive MBA that will start in 2016 in Maastricht with three different specializations: in Sports Management, in Healthcare Management and in International Business and Sustainable Development.
  • Our Faculty continued to publish in top journals and with top publishers, including Economica, International Economic ReviewQuarterly Review of Economics and Finance, The Accounting ReviewOxford University Press and others.
  • We successfully managed more than a dozen capacity building and research projects across the world, from Indonesia, to Africa and the Middle East, including an Erasmus+ funded project.
