Amsterdam Arena to partner with the MSM Executive MBA in Sports Management

The Amsterdam ArenA, home base of AFC Ajax, has confirmed its commitment to be actively involved with the MSM Executive MBA in Sports Management. The Amsterdam ArenA is very enthusiastic about the prospect of contributing to the Sports MBA program and will start by hosting the students from the first intake during their first classes.

MSM is proud to add another well-known and respected Dutch sports institution to the Executive MBA in Sports Management. Apart from MSM current partners; Sportbizz, Orange Sports Forum and Topsport Limburg various sports federations and companies such as KPMG, Royal HaskoningDHV and Impeco have endorsed this education program. Dutch sports icons and ambassadors to the program Hans van Breukelen en Marc Lammers are passionate about the program and emphasize its necessity in order to support the future development of the sports industry in the Netherlands.

MSM organizes an MBA Sports event on 16 December where it will welcome (former) topsporters and representatives from the industry, demonstrating the interest and need for this innovative management program from the sports industry.

The Amsterdam ArenA has been responsible for the successful exploitation of the home base of AFC Ajax for almost 20 years. The stadium is visited annually by approximately 2 million visitors in over 80 events varying from Football, Concerts, Dance Events to Business to Business Events. The ArenA established an innovation center to develop services and products that contribute to state-of-the-art management of stadiums and indoor arenas that takes the event experience of visitors to a higher level. Since 2000, governments, clubs, construction companies and architects are being advised (by Amsterdam ArenA International) of stadium planning, design, management and commercial exploitation.
