Province of Limburg scholarships for MSM's Executive MBA in Sports Management

The Province of Limburg has granted four scholarships to talented students for MSM’s new Executive MBA in Sports Management. After graduating these students are expected to fulfill leadership roles in the international sports industry with a focus on the promotion of the high-tech sports facilities and innovative sports equipment and materials of the province.

These scholarships reflect that MSM and the Province of Limburg have joined hands to internationally promote the innovations, knowledge and products of the Limburg sports industry. With its international network and the Executive MBA in Sports Management, MSM aims to contribute to the economic development of the province generated by the sports industry.

The number of partners in the Executive MBA in Sports Management is continuously growing. Just recently the Amsterdam ArenA confirmed its commitment to the program. SportBizz, The Orange Sports Forum,TopSport Limburg, KPMG, Royal HaskoningDHV and Impeco have endorsed the program since its inception.

On 16 December MSM organized an MBA Sports event which enjoyed considerable interest of (former) top athletes, coaches and representatives from the sports industry. Apart from receiving inside information on the SportsMBA the attendees enjoyed an inspiring guest lecture by Frans Cornelis, providing insights on how to prevent the ‘next’ disaster in sports management. The attendees were very enthusiastic about the Executive MBA program as well as the guest lecture.
