University-Industry collaboration under the spotlight

On 24 February 2016 MSM is hosting Professor İhsan Sabuncuoğlu, Rector of Abdullah Gul University in Turkey, who will give a public lecture on new trends and developments in higher education.

Professor Sabuncuoğlu will discuss how universities are not the only source or places to generate knowledge any more. Knowledge is generated everywhere and information has become accessible from almost everywhere. This not only affects the role of students and academics in higher education, but also puts pressure on university administrations to seriously consider the needs of society.

The event is open to the public and anyone with an interest in university-industry collaboration and university-community engagement is welcome to attend. This public event is organized as part of MSM’s ongoing programs and research on Leadership in Higher Education.

Professor İhsan Sabuncuoğlu is visiting MSM to further collaboration between MSM and Abdullah Gul University.
