MSM partners with University Campus Suffolk on Executive MBA and Healthcare Management

On 29 January 2016 Maastricht School of Management and University Campus Suffolk signed the agreement to offer the Executive MBA at UCS in Ipswich, United Kingdom. The first intake is scheduled to start in the autumn of 2016.

MSM dean Prof. Wim Naudé visited University Campus Suffolk to sign the agreement. He said: “Bringing together one of the oldest business schools in the Netherlands and of the youngest university operations in the UK has resulted in the development of a unique partnership that combines solid business tradition and international accreditation with entrepreneurial energy and opportunity.”

Director of International at UCS, Mr Stuart Bannerman, said that this collaboration is an outstanding opportunity for aspiring managers in the East to embark on a top ranked Executive MBA with the confidence that it is fully accredited by three international business accrediting bodies and will be recognized by employers worldwide. “There will be a number of specialist streams and we are currently looking at Energy, Healthcare and Sport amongst others before we make the final choice of electives”.

In addition to the Executive MBA, University Campus Suffolk (UCS) and MSM will also collaborate in extending MSM’s growing portfolio of leadership in healthcare management education. Specifically, UCS and MSM are now offering a management program for those working in the area of Sexual and Reproductive Health Services.

UCS is a partnership between the University of East Anglia and the University of Essex, working with Lowestoft College, Great Yarmouth College, Suffolk New College and West Suffolk College. UCS offers an attractive portfolio of courses within Applied Social Science, Arts, Business, Health and Science at undergraduate and postgraduate level. A range of research in these areas complements this.
