Delegation from Nanjing University Business School visits MSM

A small delegation from the Nanjing University Business School (NUBS) visited MSM on 12 February 2016. The delegation, led by Prof. Sarah Zhang, Director of the Sino-Dutch International Business Center (SDIBC) at NUBS, and Ms. Lilian Luo, Marketing Manager of SDIBC, visited MSM as a result of the recent intensification of the partnership between  Maastricht School of Management (MSM) and the NUBS.

Recently MSM and NUBS in partnership launched a path-breaking Executive MBA in Healthcare Management – the first such in China. Currently 32 Chinese healthcare professionals are studying in this EMBA program. During the visit to MSM the parties discussed the further development of this program, as well as the potential to start further specialized Executive MBAs, executive education programs, and possibly a DBA degree, in China. NUBS is furthermore a joint organizer of MSM’s 6th Annual Research Conference that will take place on 9 September 2016 on the topic of “The Rise of Eurasia: New Perspectives on East-West Business and Economic Relations”

As MSM is launching an Executive MBA in Healthcare Management in September 2016 in Maastricht to complement its recently successfully launched Sports Management Executive MBA, the partners also discussed the utilization of a global network of healthcare academics and specialist to teach in this program in Maastricht.

The long-standing and pioneering partnership and collaboration between MSM and NUBS can be traced back to 1997. The high quality MSM-NUBS joint Executive MBA program proudly claims the 3rd place in China’s most influential MBA Programs Rank.
