Sustainable Business Development at MSM

Twelve participants from six countries successfully completed the Executive Program Sustainable Business Development for Emerging Economies on 26 February 2016.

During the program the participants received courses dealing with the principles of value chain analysis and corporate social responsibility. They enjoyed the courses, the work-visits and the excursions but also the feedback they received from one another. For example, two participants work in the solar-energy sector, one in Indonesia and one in Uganda and they discussed the different set-ups of their companies. MSM also offers the courses on value chain analysis and corporate social responsibility as separate one-week programs.

Follow-up opportunities were also explored such as the establishment of a CSR centre in Mongolia, the development of a multi-stakeholder agricultural framework in Uganda and a joint research program on Palmoil in Indonesia. Moreover, three students did explore further studies at MSM. It was a fruitful and sustainable course.
