M.Sc. students in Management and Engineering graduate in Aachen

In 2013 and 2014 Maastricht School of Management and RWTH Aachen University started collaboration on three M.Sc. degrees in management and engineering. In 2015 no less than 85 students from these programs graduated. On 29 April 2016 at a Graduation Ceremony held in Aachen, students were handed their degrees by the Dean of MSM, Professor Wim Naudé and, representing the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of RWTH Aachen University, Professor Matthias Hüsing.

Speaking at the ceremony, Professor Wim Naudé aid the combination of management and engineering can be compared to the scientific study of clouds, where the interest is not only interested on function but also on form, purpose and forecasting. He encouraged the graduates of this cutting-edge program to be in their careers somewhat like clouds: fly-high, be seen, be resilient, inspire creativity and wonder, and bring growth and prosperity to others.

The duration of the M.Sc degrees in management and engineering is two years. During the first year students focus on management in Aachen, Germany, and in the second year on management in Maastricht, the Netherlands, making it not only a top level scientific degree in a field where there is a high demand for jobs but also a unique transnational degree that immerses students in the best of business and engineering in the EURegio and MSM’s global networks.
