Strategic Planning and KPI Management Education in Algeria

Maastricht School of Management recently offered a tailor-made Executive Education program on ‘Strategic Planning and KPI management’ for Algeria’s Ministry of Interior and Local Authorities (MILA). The first part of the course was offered in Maastricht and the second in Oran, Algeria.

During the second part of the course, two groups of participants worked on various strategic planning topics in the context of their jobs, including on how to improve tourism and how to make the services of the Municipalities more open, transparent, informative and accessible.

The course recently concluded with a ceremony attended by Mr. Chabni Fatehallah, President of the Provincial Assembly of Oran, Mr. Boukatem Nourreddine, The Mayor of Oran, and Mr. Dahar Tayeb Toufik, Deputy Director of the Ministry of Interior and Local Authorities (MILA) of Algeria. In their speeches they emphasized the importance they put on this program and thanked MSM for the success with which the education was provided. Further cooperation between MSM and the MILA on the executive education needs of the Algerian government are being planned.
