MSM MBA students experience 21st century Garden of Eden

The current cohort of the MSM full-time MBA enjoyed important lessons during their recent visit to Glo’Art in Belgium.

MBA Class representative Beverly Best from Trinidad & Tobago summarized the excitement of the groups as follows: “Our visit to Glo’Art will be one of our top 10 experiences we have had during our academic year at Maastricht School of Management (MSM). Not only did the experience give us an insight of what a 21st century “Garden of Eden” could look like, but it also epitomized a perfect harmony and synergy of creativity between mankind and nature.
In fact, the vision, passion and warmth of Glo’Art Director Willy Gilissen and his team reminded us of some of the basic principles of Entrepreneurship, Innovation Management, Corporate Social Responsibility, Corporate Strategy, Cultural Diversity, Marketing, Global Economy, Change Management, Supply & Global Value Chain….which are contained in some of the subjects we have studied as Business Management students at MSM.  On reflection this visit brought to life and made vivid some important lessons we have learnt at MSM.”

GLO’ART is a leading international arts centre in Lanaken, Belgium aiming to help young artists from all over the world to build their career in art and to become recognized, well-known international artists. It does so by scouting global upcoming artists and providing them with the opportunity to develop and deploy their talents and skills

“It was simply beautiful”, Beverly concluded.

The Maastricht MBA offers its students exposure to great companies and organizations in the broader Maastricht region – facilitated through work visits, the MSM international mentorship program and guest lectures.
The application window for the intake starting in September 2016 is still open. Apply now and ensure your place in this exciting program.
