MSM Executive Education on Financial Management for Non-Financials

In the context of the growing trend to work in disciplinary teams knowledge of the core finance concepts is a necessity. On this background 6 participants from different cultures all working in non-financial areas such as marketing, sales, government and education completed the MSM Executive Program Financial Management for Non-Financials.

This two-week program consists out of the MSM Executive ProgramsCosts and Cost Accounting and Financial Management Fundamentals.

The program provided the participants the fundamentals of financials in a combination of tools, analyzing skills, case studies and group discussions in which all participated enthusiastically. The group showed during presentations that they were able to incorporate the things learned from this 2 weeks intensive training program in their daily work.

During the program the participants realized that the impact of their decisions have financial consequences which requires knowledge how to interpret relevant financial data. Through this knowledge they realized that it is also an excellent way to understand more about the competition, key customers, business partners but also and not the least about the state of affairs in their own organization.
