MSM and the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs to partner on governance and business studies

Maastricht School of Management and the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding, in terms of which the two institutions aim to join hands in education and research.

The MOU was signed during a recent visit of a senior management team of the GIPA to Maastricht. The team included Professor Marine Ioseliani, the Rector of GIPA, Ms. Nestan  Tsitsishvili, the Dean of the School of Social Sciences, Ms. Irina Gorgiladze, the Dean of the School of Government, and Ms. Anano Gorgodze, the coordinator of the MBA program.

The intended collaboration of the two institutes will focus on provision of a joint / collaborative MBA program, collaboration in terms of a Master of Public Administration (within the context of MSM’s Global School of Governance that is being established) and joint research.

The Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA) was created in 1994. The Institute’s four individual schools offer BA and MA programs as well as training courses in the spheres of Public Affairs, Local Governance, Journalism, International Affairs and Law alongside a PhD program in Social Sciences.
