The 2016 Maastricht Awards for entrepreneurial excellence

As a sponsor of the Maastricht Awards, MSM is delighted to announce the winners of the Maastricht Awards 2016, which were awarded on 21 November under great interest.

The Maastricht Awards is an initiative of Maastricht entrepreneurs, the municipality of Maastricht, and other city stakeholders including Centre Management, Maastricht Marketing, Podium 24, Immens, Maastricht Bereikbaar and representatives of Maastricht’s retail, the hotel and catering, manufacturing and service industries.

Maastricht School of Management is delighted to be a sponsor of the Maastricht Awards because it values the ties between the local business community and our international student body. MSM’s mentorship program is an example of this close relationship. Every year MSM sets up links between local business representatives and students as a way to introduce students to the Dutch way of doing business. In return, senior managers participating in the mentorship program benefit from the opportunity to get acquainted with foreign business cultures and expertise. MSM also organizes guest lectures with representatives of the business community on topics directly linked to the MBA program curriculum in order to link theory directly to practice and to strengthen the ties between the local business community and our international student base.
