The position was motivated by Het Waterschapshuis’ intention to increase its internal capacity and improve its implementation of innovative information and communication technologies (ICT), related procurement and contracting. Central to these improvements is a greater understanding of the economic aspects in European ICT procurement practices, policies and legislation.

The prospective doctoral candidate will work at MSM within the recently established Corvers Chair in Innovation Procurement. The Chair is a growing team under academic leadership of Professor Nicola Dimitri and supported by research fellows Dr. Anne Rainville and Dr. Ramona Apostol. The doctoral candidate will work closely with the Chair, and the team from Corvers Commercial and Legal Affairs and Vtrek (a network organization embedded within a strong system of economic and legal partners).

Het Waterschapshuis is the project implementation agency for the Netherlands’ Water Boards in the area of ICT. The Water Boards are regional government bodies responsible for management of water quality, sewage, and related infrastructure in the Netherlands.

The call for interested candidates will be posted soon.
