120th anniversary of Nanjing University and its long years of partnership with MSM published in China Daily

On the occasion of the 120th anniversary of Nanjing University, MSM's longstanding partner, China Daily highlighted the MSM-Nanjing MBA program. The program is a leading and demonstrative program in the education sector since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the Netherlands.

On Friday, 20 May 2022 Nanjing University celebrated its 120 years of existence and contribution to the successful cooperation with domestic and foreign universities offering students to grown, learn and share experiences in a cross-cultural and multidisciplinary environment.

Nanjing University is one of the oldest and most respected universities in China. Together with MSM they share a rich and successful history of 25 years of collaboration, starting the first MBA program (the so called, Sino-Dutch Program of Nanjing University) in 1998 with a specialization in General and Strategic Management. In 2015, two new MBA specializations were launched, Healthcare Management and International Business Innovation Management. During the program the students also visit MSM in the Netherlands for their study attachment abroad consisting out of lectures, assignments and company visits.

Since the start of the partnership, over 2000 innovative talents successfully graduated from the Sino-Dutch program of Nanjing University ready to compete and cooperate in an international environment.

On 23 April, 2022, the opening ceremony of the first group students of 2022 took place. Mr. Meinhard Gans, CEO/Dean a.i. at MSM, was not able to be present in person, but delivered his congratulations in a video message: “Effective leadership needed for decades to come is being redefined. The successful implementation of the Sino-Dutch program of Nanjing University will help participants to improve their management skills and lays a solid foundation for the repositioning of future leadership roles.”

In 2021, the Sino-Dutch program of Nanjing University won the 4th place in the Top 10 Best Sino-Foreign Joint programs of Chinese Business Schools for its excellent pedagogical methods and achievements. During the award ceremony, outstanding business education programs, institutions and individuals were grandly awarded. Being a new innovative type of education program, the Sino-foreign Master Programs have played an important role in the diversification, internationalization and sophistication of education in China.
