With the students of the first cohort set to arrive in Maastricht on Friday, the 7th of July for a week in Maastricht, MSM dean Professor Wim Naude visited the University of Suffolk at its waterfront campus in Ipswich, to explore further collaboration.

During a meeting with Professor Mohammad Dastbaz, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, and Professor Mohamed Abdel-Maguid, Head of Science and Technology, on 5 July, Professor Naude outlined a number of recent MSM initiatives in high-tech business management and research. These will be aligned with some of University of Suffolk’s initiatives in the future, including the possibility of developing a degree in strategic telecommunications management. Professor Naude and Professor Dastbaz are also working on a book on smart and sustainable city management that will be published at the end of the year by Springer.
