Newsletter #5/2019

Introduction

The month of May was filled with good news and celebration at Maastricht School of Management. Our MBA and Master in Management students enthusiastically demonstrated their presentation talents during our annual PechaKucha event on 10 May. Earlier that day, we celebrated the graduation of more than 30 students who received their Master’s degree in Management and Engineering. This degree, jointly offered by MSM and RWTH Aachen University, offers the unique advantage of combining technical engineering with international business training skills.

On the institute front, we are proud to announce that we have been awarded four tailor-made training programs in Burundi, Congo, Liberia and Sierra Leone. Next to the four one-year tailor-made training programs MSM has also been awarded a three-year project in Ghana in Agricultural Development.

Looking ahead, we hope to meet many prospective students at the “I am not a Tourist” Expat Fair in Eindhoven on 16 June 2019 and would like to take this opportunity to remind you all that the application deadline for our next Research Methods and Skills course is 1 July 2019. The application deadline for our degree programs is also approaching!

Meinhard Gans, CEO a.i.

Katalin Kovacs, Dean a.i.
