Issue #4/2015

MSM Dean Director Wim Naudé

For business school education to remain relevant it has to cross disciplines, cross borders and cross the gap between academia and practice. During this past month MSMs activities reflected these imperatives. As you can read in this newsletter, we started new collaborations, deepened existing ones, and facilitated business-to-business, and business-to-academia exchange during April. In particular we deepened our collaboration with our partner RWTH Aachen University by laying the foundation for a new MSc degree in Management and Engineering in Electrical Power Systems (MME-EPS). This exciting two-year degree follows on our earlier program with RWTH Aachen University, the MSc in Management and Engineering in Production Systems Engineering (MME-PSE), of whom the first students will graduate in May 2015.  Plans are afoot to further collaboration with RWTH Aachen University on a number of topics, thus not only integrating management and engineering but also furthering cross-border collaboration in the Rhine-Meuse region.
