MSM Dean Director Wim Naudé

I just returned from the celebration of the 15th Anniversary of the FHR Lim A Po Institute for Social Studies in Suriname. The Institute has been a partner of MSM since 2002, and around 300 students have by now graduated from our joint MBA program.  MSM is happy to congratulate the Institute and its leadership on this milestone. This celebration, coming as it does at the end of August, is a fitting start for many exciting developments in coming weeks and months at MSM. As you can read in this newsletter, on 3 September we will hold our Annual Graduation Ceremony in Maastricht, congratulating more than a hundred students from across the world. As we have done since 2011, our Annual Research Conference immediately follows the annual graduation. This year, the theme is on Managing African Agriculture. We look forward to engaging world renowned experts from the World Bank, Johns Hopkins University, IFRPI, the German Development Institute, the Austrian Development Foundation and top scholars from across Africa. This is a fitting event at a research-driven business school where evidence-based management and policy making helps ensure the quality of all our programs’ contents.  And speaking of quality, we are delighted to have received the news that the Association of MBAs (AMBA) has re-accredited MSM’s programs for another five years. This provides assurance to all our students that we offer a top-level education they can trust.
