Newsletter #3/2021

Introduction

We have a lot of updates to share with you in this May newsletter. First and foremost, we are delighted to be able to welcome our students on campus again, even if it is only for one-day a week for the time being in keeping with COVID-19 safety measures. We have missed them!

MSM’s full-time MBA and Master in Management programs have continued their upward climb in the 2021 Eduniversal Best Masters Ranking. No wonder that MSM graduates make great hires! An article in Business Because listed the five top reasons why local Dutch employers highly value our full-time MBA alumni.

The second edition of our High Level Talks series gathered leaders from Higher Education institutes in Ethiopia, Ghana, Jordan, Kenya and Uganda to discuss how to leverage the COVID-19 crisis as an opportunity for digital transformation. Other highlights are our survey findings on Climate Smart Agriculture perceptions and practices in Eastern Africa, three tailor-made capacity-building training projects granted to MSM in Burundi, Ghana and Liberia and two recently run Executive Education programs on Change Management and Strategic Leadership.

There are only a few days left to apply for our next Online MBA program and to benefit from the early bird fee for our next distance-learning Research Methods and Skills (RMS) program. Make sure to check the deadlines for our next programs and events!

Best wishes, stay healthy, and hopefully see you all again soon,

Meinhard Gans
Chief Executive Officer
