MSM Dean Wim Naudé

While our teaching and research activities continue across the world we are coming to the end of the academic year in Maastricht. The academic year will formally end with a very special event for our students - our 65th Anniversary Graduation - on 21 September.  And then, on 2 October we will welcome one of the largest new cohorts in recent years to Maastricht when we formally start the 2017-2018 Academic Year on 2 October.  It promises to be an exciting start, with two excellent speakers sharing their insights on the disruptive potential of new technologies in mobility and contracting. We cannot wait!

When Digitization Strikes: Disruptive Technologies and the Future of Mobility and Contracting

Join us on 2 October 2017 for the Opening of the New Academic Year when two expert speakers, Dr. Ir. Carlo van de Weijer from the Technical University (TU) Eindhoven and SingularityU, and Prof. Dr. Nicola Dimitri from Sienna University, Cambridge University and MSM will respectively share their views on the future of mobility and contracting.

Graduation 21 September 2017

We look forward to this celebration, expecting more than a hundred students from our MBA, Masters and Doctoral programs to graduate.  Keynote speaker is our very own MSM alumnus, Mr. Frank Kauffmann, General Manager at Royal Philips Electronics. As musical interlude, renowned Harpsichordist Mr. Remy Syrier will perform a special piece on the harpsichord to accompany the current MSM Photographic Exhibition in Maastricht’s Centre Ceramique.

From 5 until 12 July a group of 27 senior public officials from several Sri Lankan ministries, the army and universities visited MSM for a 6-day tailor made program on Transformational Leadership.

For this photo exhibition, 20 faculty, staff, students and alumni have selected a special place in Maastricht to reveal the metamorphic book that has made them better appreciate the contribution of science and/or democracy to their lives.
