New opportunities: childhood dreams bring Syrian student to MsM

As a little boy Subhi Najjar from Syria used to tell his mother that when he would grow up, his dream was to be a “man with a bag”. His words became reality when after graduating from pharmacy school Subhi started traveling for multinational companies in all four corners of his homeland, even in times of war. Even when people started fleeing the country, Subhi stayed. Sometimes the dangers of war forced him to stay at home. One day, he saw his beloved bag covered with dust and he realized that his dream had expired. He moved on to his second dream, which was to be like Don Quichotte and conquer windmills. As a lover of classical music, Subhi listened to a concert by André Rieu while searching for an MBA school. This is what brought him to the Netherlands, and to MsM. As a new ‘Don Quichotte’ Subhi now has hundreds of windmills to fight against and obstacles to overcome. Subhi is living his dreams to the full and is convinced that they will lead him to success.
