Chairman René van der Linden awarded Order of Friendship by President of Azerbaijan
The President of Azerbaijan, H.E. Ilham Aliyev, awarded Senator René van der Linden with the Order of Friendship on 13 December. Van der Linden was decorated for his significant support in developing friendly relations and cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Netherlands, for his services in the Caspian region, Turkey, and for his efforts as Russia's special envoy on energy issues.
The official award ceremony will take place during a trade mission to Azerbaijan organized by MsM in collaboration with the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA) on 22-26 April 2014. The trade mission will be led by Senator René van der Linden, who has an extensive network with political and industry leaders in Azerbaijan at the highest level.
